Week 2 sumup picture- "Looking to the future"

After a full week of things to do  ( unfortunately keeping away from EDCMOOC most of the time :( ) , I managed to take a break and post this new picture about Week 2's metaphor : Salvation or destruction?
I really liked the topic of this week as it reminded me all the thoughts I had while watching some anime series with utopias- dystopias about technology.
The most recent tech- anime I watched was Ergo proxy. In these series, the protagonist Real-M ( even her name is full with irony, as she's not a real human completely) finds herself in the middle of many philosophical questions about salvation and destruction in technology.. Will a day come when autoraves will rebel and control us? How real is a digital life , with so many tech-gadgtes? Is the digital revolution the end of humanity?

As I watched Week 2's video, I remembered about a painting I once drew about human vs cyborg. So here it is!!! The title of the image is " Is our salvation ... a destruction plugged in?" ( I took some stuff about using metaphors very seriously in the end ^^)

Week 1 - Follow up on digital determinism

My first week in EDCMOOC was beyond exciting! It was amazing !!
So I tried to organize my experience from the first week's theme " Digital determinism- looking to the past".
I thought  about an image and tried to make it .
Well, here it is!!!( actually it's my first attempt to create an image on a digital programm, so I initially used bitmap - not very nice graphics though...)

Program that I used to make the picture: Bitmap.
Programs I used to fix and add effects on the pic : Pixlr, picmonkey ( cloud applications)
Sites I used to find photos : CC search engine, google images, ficklr.
The theme is " Determinism? Not so much".
As you can see the human's mind and the computer output have a common image : society. Meaning that social systems ( the images on the human mind is the tree levels, technoeconomic,social and philosophical levels of society). of the real world are interacting with digital media ( youtube, twitter, e-mail,facebook) and create a digit-real society in the digital networks and in human contact through the computer system ( that's why an image is repeated )
